Danielle Pettiford co-founded Couples Academy with her husband, Hasani. She brings depth in personality dynamics, emotional awareness and relational alignment. Her work helps couples see how each partner’s internal wiring, emotional needs and communication style contribute to breakdowns in trust and connection. She and Hasani have worked with over 800 couples, and have been married for 24 years.
Danielle is especially effective at helping couples move out of blame and confusion into self-awareness and responsibility, the shift that makes lasting repair possible.
How Danielle works with couples
She and Hasani lead Couples Academy’s Private Marriage Intensives: three to five days of structured work with one couple at a time. Danielle leads the fourth day, Individual Recovery, which uses the Enneagram, not as a personality label, but as a tool for self-awareness, healing and growth, applied specifically to marriage and affair recovery.
Couples Academy also offers Urgent Marriage Counseling (12 weekly sessions, renewable) and the Last Chance Weekend, a 3-day group experience.
Speaking
Danielle and Hasani are keynote speakers at marriage, leadership and corporate conferences. Together they have worked with couples across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
