Our Marriage Story
Hasani and Danielle Pettiford’s journey began during a pivotal moment in Hasani’s life. As a professional speaker, Hasani delivered a message that inspired Danielle to sow a seed into his ministry and seek his mentorship. Their professional connection soon blossomed into a romantic relationship. After dating for a year and a half, they married, building a life rooted in shared faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and intellectual connection. Danielle’s lighthearted nature perfectly complemented Hasani’s seriousness, creating a harmonious partnership.
Like many couples, they faced significant challenges, including financial hardship, communication breakdowns, parenting differences, and in-law issues, as well as business failures, job losses, and foreclosure. These struggles tested their marriage, but an intensive marital course helped them rebuild their foundation by placing God at the center of their relationship.
